Two shops with dwellings above. Early C19 with late C19 alterations. Brick
in Flemish bond, French tile roof. 3 storeys, 2 bays. To left: C19 shop
front with door to left, and frieze held on acanthus leaf consoles. To
right: C19 shop front with door to left and frieze terminating in brackets.
First floor: 16-pane sash beneath channelled lintel with fluted keystone to
left, late C19 canted bay window to right. Second-floor band. Second
floor: 16-pane sash to left, 4-pane sash to right, both beneath channelled
wedge lintels with fluted keystones. Dentilled eaves course. Gable coping
and kneeler to right. Ridge stack to right. Included for group value.
