Two shops with dwellings above. Early C19 with later C19 alterations.
Brown brick in Flemish bond with red brick quoins and window jambs. Roman
tile roof. 3 storeys, 2 bays. No 4 to left has C19 shop front with half-
glazed door to left beneath overlight with margin lights. Door and window
flanked by moulded pilasters carrying continuous frieze. No 5 to right has
C19 shop front with half-glazed door to right beneath unglazed divided
overlight. Moulded frieze carried on fluted brackets to sides of door and
shop window. First floor: sashes with glazing bars beneath channelled wedge
lintels with decorative keystones. Second floor: unequally-hung 9-pane
sashes beneath similar lintels. Gutter held on paired brackets. Hipped
