Large cottage. Core probably early C17 with extension to north of
C18 and some C20 alterations to rear. Random coursed rubble stone,
stone slate roof to front, concrete tiles to rear, stone ridge
stack with offset and brick flue, and external brick end stack to
C18 extension. Single long range with rear cross range behind
right hand gable and small lean-to across rest of rear, single
storey and attic. Front has 2 gables on original section with
small oval blocked stone windows at top of each and 2-light stone
mullion with square hoodmould below. Three-light stone mullion to
left gable on ground floor, 3-light wood casement to right, both
with relieving arches. South end gable has single light at top and
2-light and 3-light below, both with square hoodmoulds. North
extension has 2 and 3-light wood casements. Entrance in rear wing
with C20 door.
