Stable block. Late C18. Random coursed rubble stone with quoins to
centre section, half hipped stone slate roof with C20 central
bellcote of 6 small wooden columns and swept lead cupola, on
polygonal cemented base. Single range, single storey and loft.
Central projecting section with alternating flush quoins and
shallow gable with single dovecote entry hole in form of small arch
with ledge, blocked pitch hole with Phoenix fire insurance plaque
between 2 plat bands, semi-circular doorcase with keystone, imposts
and quoins, decorative radial fanlight and plain faced door. To
left, 2 round-headed small windows with plain stone surrounds,
keystone and imposts, radial top light and central vent to 4-pane
section below. One similar window to right and shallow-arched
carriage entrance with keystone imposts and quoins.
