House in terrace. Early/mid C18. Coursed rubble stone or cemented
plinth, stone slate roof temporarily removed for restoration at
time of survey (April 1985), concrete end stack to left. Double
range with lower rear range, through passage, 2 storeys and attic
to front range, 2 storeys to rear. Two windows, 12-pane sashes.
Ground floor has 12-pane sash to left, early C19 shop window to
right, now with C20 window of 16 large panes and cemented base,
with wood dentil cornice and triglyph block with guttae to each
end. Door between of 6 panels, top 2 glazed, middle 2 recessed and
lower 2 recessed with decorative beading. One gabled dormer with
6-pane sash.
