II
Former farmhouse and attached animal shelter, converted to private
house. Probably early C18. Coursed rubble stone, stone slate
roof, brick end stack to left and ridge stack. Single long range
of 2 storeys and attic, and adjoining former animal shelter of
single storey. Three windows, widely spaced small 2-light
casements with flat stone voussoir arches. Three directly below on
ground floor, with double glass doors to right of centre one, and 2
plain boarded doors to left of centre, all with stone voussoir
arches and with gabled porch hood to door on far left. Single
small gabled dormer with twin casements. Eleven stone steps up on
right hand return to former loft door, now glazed. Originally 6-
bay animal shelter with slate roof and wooden pillars marking bays,
filled in with rubble stone walls, 3 wide C20 windows and garage
doors to one bay.
