II

Farmhouse. Early C18. Coursed and dressed rubble stone with
quoins, stone slate roof, stone end stacks with moulded cornice and
offset. L-shape range of 2 storeys and attic. Three windows, 6-
pane sashes of C19 with central narrower sash, with large flush
cemented lintels. Two similar wide 6-pane sashes on ground floor,
and central C19 decorative gabled porch with 4-panel door, top 2
glazed, lower 2 with bolection moulding, in moulded wood surround.
Two small gabled dormers with C20 2-light windows. Left hand wing
projecting forward has 6-panel door, top 2 glazed, middle 2
fielded, lower 2 flush. Rear facade has 2 similar 6-pane sashes on
each floor with central round-headed window with voussoirs and
leaded glass, probably lighting staircase, on first floor. Door
below of 6 panels, top 4 fielded, lower 2 flush, with large
cemented lintel. Right hand side of rear has hipped corner, with
6-pane sash and half-glazed door below. Left hand return of
projecting wing has 2 small ground floor windows with timber
lintels.
