5.12.55 II

House. Early C19. Stucco and slate. Symmetrical front (south) of 2 storeys,
4 windows. Hipped roof. The walls have chamfered quoins, 1st floor band,
moulded architraves, and plinth. Sashes in reveals, the 2 centre being French
windows opening onto a stone-flagged verandah, with cast-iron trellis framework
supporting a concave hipped lead roof. The west end of the main block has a
simple Tuscan porch of shallow mouldings, now flanked by outshots. There is a
lower T-shaped rear service wing of 2 storeys, with regular openings, the upper
walls being rendered and the lower of brickwork with flint panels.
