II
Mill building. Early Cl9 with c1825 additions. Coursed rubble
limestone; tall ashlar chimney; Welsh slate roof. Four storey
main block; 3-storey wing to west. Main parapet-gabled block at
east end with 6-window segmental arched small-pane casement
fenestration, oculus to south gable end. Tall tapering chimney
attached to south west corner. Three-storey range runs to west,
6-window fenestration on north side all keyed segmental arched
small-pane casements, 2 gabled projecting blocks further right with
single-window fenestration below each gable. Interior not
inspected but wing said to have intact water-wheel pit. Built as
cloth mill and still used for the manufacture of carpets.
