approximately 15 metres
to north of farmhouse
GV II
Cowhouse. C16 or early C17, later walling. Internal timber framing, rubble
sandstone, stone slate roof. Single-storey, 3 bays. Farmyard side: C19-C20
walling with boarded door to left of centre flanked by part-slatted casements,
another doorway on right; all have plain stone lintels. Rear: walling of older
character. Left return: framing with later brick infill exposed in gable.
Right return: external stone steps to boarded door, window on left, pigeon hole
in asymmetrical gable.

Interior: 6 wall posts with braces to wall plate inside front wall. Principal-
rafter trusses with diagonal braces and double purlins. Timberwork above tie
beams of later date. Farmbuilding adjoining left end not of special interest.
