Beck
II
Road bridge. 1792. By John Carr of York. Sandstone ashlar. Single segmental
arch with archivolt, flanked by pilaster buttresses. Band below parapet.
Triangular coping, raised and hipped over buttresses. Parapets are long and
terminate in circular bollards. The bridge has been widened downstream, in matching
style but without archivolt.
