Stainley Hall
GV II
Gates and gatepiers. Late C18 for the Staveley family. Wrought iron and
rusticated ashlar. Gates: 2 leaves, plain bars, ramped top with scroll
motif and initial S to centre of lock rail. Piers: each approximately 2.5
metres high with inscription 'MANOR HOUSE' below plain cornice and banded
ball-and-cushion finial.
