House. Late C18. Rendered rubble, purple slate roof. Rusticated quoins.
2 storeys, 3 first-floor windows with probably earlier rear range.
Central glazed door in rusticated quoined surround with tripartite keystone.
Flanking C20 20-pane sashes with projecting stone sills and incised lintels.
16-pane sashes above with renewed, projecting sills and incised lintels.
Hipped roof. Chimney stack to rear. Interior: original stairs centre
front, chamfered spine beam in parallel rear range. Service wing to rear
not of special interest. On site of grange of Fountains Abbey.
