Country house. Mid C18 with Cl9 additions. Coursed rubble and cobbles,
stone slate roof. 2 storeys, 3 first-floor windows, with added wing to
rear right linking to parallel rear range. Central C20 glazed door with
fanlight and attached columns supporting entablature and dentilled cornice.
Flanking canted bays with sashes and glazing bars. First floor: central
recessed sash with glazing bars flanked by Venetian windows, all with keyed
architraves and imposts. Eaves band, hipped roof, brick stack to rear of
ridge. Right return: main house, left - large quoined external stack
sealed off at eaves level; right - canted bay window to ground floor, sash
above, both with glazing bars. Added wing - central glazed door under
portico with Doric columns, flanking and first-floor sashes with glazing
bars, ridge stacks to left and right. Parallel gabled rear range: 16-pane
sash with margin lights to left, 9-pane sash above, kneelers, ridge stack.
