House and attached garden wall. Mid C18. Coursed squared gritstone,
stone slate and pantile roof. 2 storeys, 2 bays, with lower bay to right.
Quoins. Central C20 glazed door in alternate quoined surround; flanking and
first-floor windows are casements with glazing bars of c1975 in stone
surrounds with chamfered jambs, central mullions removed. Gable coping,
kneelers cut back, end stacks, that to right rebuilt in concrete blocks.
Rear: blocked entrance to right of centre, blocked 3-light mullioned half-
cellar window to left in double-chamfered surround; single-light chamfered
window above and another lighting stairs to left of blocked door. 2-light
mullioned window to right; 2 similar windows to first floor, mullions
removed. Garden wall: coursed rubble with ashlar coping, approximately 1.5
metres high, ramped up to approximately 3.5 metres at junction with house.
The house was called Church Farm until c1900.
