House. Early to mid C15. Timber framed and plastered with C20 pargetting.
Roof is gabled and peg tiled with gable end stack at south end. Long walled
jetty house of 2 storeys with 4 jetty brackets exposed on front. This has 3
double hung sash windows with 2 vertical glazing bars on the first floor. The
ground floor has 2 smaller windows and a rebuilt square bay window with small
panes. To the north end is a carriageway with boarded flanks. Early and very
elaborate long wall jetty house with moulded bridging joists and crown post
roof. Over the main chamber is a cross quadrate crown post with broached
chamfers and 4 way bracing. Many tie beam arch braces and part of the door head
survive. One diamond mullion window remains complete in the rear wall. RCHM
