House. C17 or earlier, altered in C19. Timber framed, mainly weatherboarded,
partly cement-rendered, roofed with handmade red clay tiles. 4 bays facing W
(gable end to West Street) with axial stack one bay from right end. C18/C19
lean-to extension along full length of rear, with C19 stack, roofed partly with
slate and partly with red clay pantiles. One storey with attics. One early C19
sash of 4 + 8 lights, one small C20 casement, one C20 casement in lean-to
dormer. 3 boarded doors (2 with some glazing). S elevation (to West Street),
one C20 casement on each floor, one plain boarded door. The RCHM (16) reported
that the stack then had a moulded capping and plain pilasters to the shafts, not
now present.
