Pair of Peckforton Estate Cottages, circa 1860. Brown brick, in
English Garden Wall Bond, with blue tile roof. Single storey and
attic, 3 bays including slightly projecting gable (south). Doors are
studded, divided into vertical panels by beads,have false strap
hinges and Tudor arched heads. 2-to-3-light cast iron lattice
casements with stone sills and deep heads to ground floor and in
timbered gable and dormers at first floor level. The gable and
dormers have shaped barge boards and finials. Chimneys with divided
flues and projecting caps rising from weathered stone band at ridge
level.
