Lime kiln, disused, circa early C19 and heightened circa mid C19. Rubblestone with
large quoins and cut stone round arches to openings on south west and north east.
Flat top. Rectangular plan. Built into side of steep slope to facilitate top
loading.
Openings on south west and north east have deeply splayed reveals, blocked to rear.
Elevation continued to north east (left) with half round arched opening affording
access to north east Kiln and to rubble stone shaft with brick lining within.
Stands on side of road about 100 metres from Lerryn Quay on south bank of River
Lerryn. Lerryn functioned as a port until the early C20.
