Cartshed/granary at Hall Farm approx. 120 metres to south-west of farmhouse

Cartshed with granary. Probably early C19. Coursed rubble magnesian
limestone, stone slate roof. 2 storeys, 5 bays. Bays 1-4 have basket-arched
cart entrances divided by square piers with chamfered arrises; bay 5 has door
on left of window. 1st floor: 3 rectangular window openings with projecting
stone sills and flat-arched heads; against right return are external stone
steps to a 1st floor doorway. Rear: 2 deeply-trenched grooves (relating to a
former lean-to?) beneath two old 3-light wood-mullioned casement windows; 2
eaves stacks on left. Left return: 1st-floor 3-light casement beneath flat
arch. Right return: blocked window on right of steps; flat-arched door to
landing.
Interior:floor removed; pattern-book king-past trusses.
