Cottage. C17 with early C18 and C20 alterations. Slobbered rubble, stone dressing
stone slate roof. 2 room plan. 2 storeys, 3 bays. Right-hand gabled entrance
porch has early-C18 surround to entrance, basket-arched lintel, C20 plank door.
Datestone above inscribed IWM/1726. Two ground-floor windows: left hand former
2-light chamfered mullioned with mullion now gone, and former 3-light chamfered
mullioned with mullions missing; both have slate hoodmoulds and C20 casements.
3 upper floor windows. Left-hand and right of centre former 2-light chamfered
mullioned with mullions now gone, C20 casements; and C17 right-hand chamfered
window with round-headed lintel, fixed light. Ridge stack left of centre.
Interior: C17 stone window staircase. Reset early C18 moulded stone surround
to fireplace, lintel decorated with imitation keystone and pulvinated Frieze.
