House. Later C17/early-C18 with mid-C19 and C20 alterations. Pebbledash stone
dressings, stone slate roof. 2 storeys, 3 bays. Formerly central entrance has
early-C18 basket arched lintel with pendant imitation keystone; plank door and
early C20 gabled wooden porch. 2 windows per storey, all formerly 2-light
chamfered mullioned but with mullions now missing. 12 pane sashes to ground
floor, 16 pane sashes to upper floor. Left-hand bay is mid C19 extension and
now contains C20 garage entrance. Overhanging eaves. Right-hand gable end stack
and ridge stack at former left-hand gable. Formerly gardener's cottage to
Austwick Hall (qv.)
