House. Late C18 - early C19. Roughcast, pantile roof. 2 storeys,
3 unevenly-spaced bays. Between second and third bays, 6-panel door below
blind overlight. C20 sash windows with glazing bars in first and third
bays, 16-pane sash windows in second bay. Shaped kneelers, ashlar copings.
Brick stacks at ends and between first and second bays. Was the Phoenix Inn
1829-1907. Brompton-on-Swale Workers' Education Association, A New Look at
Old Brompton-on-Swale (1984), p 3.
