9/6 Brecongill House
GV II
Farmhouse. Early C19. Coursed watershot rubble with ashlar dressings,
stone slate roof. 2 storeys, 3 bays. L-shaped plan. Garden front facing
east: plinth, rusticated quoins. Central C20 part-glazed door in eared
architrave with fluted frieze and cornice. Ashlar surrounds to windows. On
ground floor, Venetian windows with sashes and glazing bars, radial at top.
First-floor windows 16-pane sashes. Hipped roof. Left return: 4 bays. On
ground floor, stepped tripartite windows in bays 2 and 3; the rest sashes
with glazing bars, blind in bay 4, all with ashlar surrounds.
