SE 08 NE COVERHAM WITH AGGLETHORPE AGGLETHORPE

west of Agglethorpe Hall

Range of stables and cart sheds. Late C17 - early C18 and early C19.
Rubble with ashlar dressings, stone slate roof. 2-storeys, 6 first-floor
openings in all. To left, earlier building of 3 first-floor openings.
Quoins. Ground floor: 2-light mullion window without mullion, chamfered
door surround, single-light window, chamfered door surround, single-light
window. First floor: 2-light mullion window, pitching door, 2-light mullion
window. Shaped kneeler, ashlar coping to left. C19 range added to right
with, on ground floor, 2 segmental-arched quoined-surround cart openings
interspersed by 3 stable doors, and board openings to hayloft above.
