Lodge, now house. 1876-8 by Alfred Waterhouse, altered C20.
Red brick in Flemish bond. Steeply pitched tiled roof with
crested ridge tiles. T-plan.
EXTERIOR: single storey and 2 storeys. 2 end gable chimneys
with offset heads. Sash windows with segmental-arched heads.
2-bay gable facing road has string at first floor sill level
and toothed brickwork under verges. C20 glazed entrance door
in left section, set back.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
The lodge is one of 5 lodges to Silwood Park (qv) built by
Alfred Waterhouse.
