Lodge, now house. 1876-8 by Alfred Waterhouse, altered and
extended C20. Red brick in Flemish bond. Tiled, gabled and
half-hipped roofs; crested ridge tiles. L-plan with extension
on right.
EXTERIOR: single storey and 2 storeys. 2 gable chimneys with
offset heads. Projecting plinth. Sash windows with level and
toothed brickwork under verges. C20 glazed entrance door in
left section, set back.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
The lodge is one of 5 lodges to Silwood Park (qv) built by
Alfred Waterhouse.
