House, subdivided into 2 dwellings. C17 or earlier. Timber framed
construction , parts of ground floor reworked in brick, with colourwashed
roughcast render. Clay tile roofs. T-plan, main block of 2 storeys and
attics, cross-wing of 2 storeys. Cross-wing to LH. To R of this adjoins a
smaller 2-storeyed gable, projecting to same line and possibly formerly a
porch gable. Whole elevation has 3 windows each to ground and first floors,
all 2-light casements. Main block has doorway adjacent to projecting gables.
4 panel door under flat hood on cut brackets. The smaller gable is in line
with substantial red brick double ridge stack.
