Row of cottages, formerly 5 properties. Nos. 36 and 38 are C18, with front elevation raised one storey early C19. No. 34 (formerly a pair) is early C19. C18 work is in mottled red brick. C19 work in red and yellow chequerwork brick. Slate roofs. The earlier part originally single-storeyed, the whole row 2-storeyed. Irregular fenestration. Ground floor has 3 canted bay windows and 2 2-light casements under slightly cambered heads to earlier part. First floor has 8 2-light casements, all with glazing bars and under slightly cambered heads. 5 identical doorcases have reeded architraves with paterae to angles and simply moulded cornice hoods. All contain 6-panel doors, 2 with their top panels glazed. Variety of brick ridge and gable end stacks. Included for group value.
