Bedford Estate cottage. Early C19, probably by Sir Jeffry Wyatville, for 6th
Duke of Bedford. Cottage orne style. Colourwashed brick with hipped C20 tile
roof. T-plan, one storey and attics, with semi-octagonal bay projecting from
front elevation. Front elevation: roof of projecting bay continues forward
to form verandah on rustic timber supports. Central door under cambered head
has twigwork herringbone decoration. 2-light casements with cambered heads
flank doorway. Attic has central hipped dormer with semi-circular 2-light
window. Casements have honeycomb leading. Side elevations: canted bay
windows to ground floor, hipped dormers to attic, all with honeycomb leading.
2 red brick ridge stacks.
