House, formerly subdivided into 2 properties. C17, reworked late C18 and C19.
Timber framed structure, earlier part substantial, front clad in red brick
mottled with vitrified bricks, with red brick infill to rear. Hipped thatched
roof. 4-room plan, LH room a later addition. One storey and attics. 2 3-
light casements and one 2-light casement to ground floor. Attic has 2 eyebrow
dormers with semi-circular 3-light casements. C20 door and open porch to LH
bay. Blocked doorway to centre in line with red brick ridge stack serving
back-to-back hearth. RH window also replaces a doorway. At both ends roof
hip continues down over single-storeyed weatherboarded outbuildings.
