House, former farmhouse. Mid C17, possibly earlier core, remodelled in C19.
Plastered cob on rubble footings; cob or rubble stacks topped with C19 brick,
thatched roof. 3-room plan house facing south with left (west) end breaking forward
slightly from main range. Gable end stacks to outer rooms (the right one projecting
from the wall) and axial stack left of centre serving middle room. 2 storeys.
Regular but not symmetrical 4-window front of similar late C19 and early C20
casements, all with glazing bars and some containing panes of original glass. The
first floor windows are half dormers with thatched gables over. The door is set
right of centre behind a C20 gabled porch. The outer rooms have plain chamfered
