Pair of small houses. Late C15-C16 in origin, with cruck truss between left
bays. Rebuilt early C19, and raised C19-C20. Brick, colourwashed to front,
with rendered stone plinth and rendered gable ends. C20 tile roof with partly
rendered brick chimneys, 2 to centre and one to right. 2 storeys; 4 bays. Left
bay has C20 2-light wooden casement to ground floor; other bays have 2-light
horizontal sashes with glazing bars. Ground floor windows have rendered wedge
lintels with keyblocks; upper windows have traces of former thatch eyebrows.
Board door between left bays, 4-panelled door to right, both with gabled wooden
porches. One timber post exposed to centre of rear wall. Interior has old
rough floor beams in left bay, and spine beams to other bays, that to second bay
cambered and chamfered. Cruck truss retains collar and tie beam.
