Shop. Mid C18, altered C20, with late C18-C19 wings to rear. Whitewashed
roughcast over brick, with painted stone dressings. C20 tiled roof with coped
gables. 2 storeys, cellar and attic; 2 bays. Ground floor completely remodel-
led with C20 shop front. First floor has sill band, moulded stone eaves, and
Venetian windows in stone surrounds with triple keyblocks and scroll brackets to
sill. Windows retain wooden glazing bars and central arched sashes. Right
gable has C20 3-light wooden casement to first floor and attic. Rear has narrow
bay to left with 2 blocked windows and cellar door, and small projection of
slightly later date. Windows retain stone sills, voussoir heads and keyblocks.
2 later rear wings are of whitewashed brick with dentil eaves. Smaller central
wing has 2-storey canted bay window; longer wing has 3 storeys, sashes, and 2
blind roundels. Included for group value.
