Rectory, now house. Possibly late C16 to early C17 with large early C19
front range and two wings with tablet AD 1866 to rear. Timber-framed early
part, brick and stucco early C19 range and brick 1866 wings, slate roofs, end
stack to south of early C19 range. Roughly rectangular plan comprising
parallel C17 and early C19 ranges with two late C19 wings attached at right
angles to the latter. Main elevation to north-east: two storeys, three bays
with glazing bar sashes and lean-to containing symmetrical windows under
segmental heads either side of central late C20 door with C19 fanlight flanked
by two narrow lights; entry within lean-to has deeply moulded semi-circular
headed early C19 architrave containing fanlight and 4-panelled door, the top
two panels of which are glazed; hipped roof. South-east elevation has exposed
timber-framed two-storey gable with close-studding to first floor, two
symmetrical tension braces to corner posts and brick infill with rubble repairs
to left corner. The opposite end of the timber-framed range is finished in
roughcast.
