Circa 1846. Originally a symmetrical composition in stucco, the outer
houses projecting and having parapets, that to right now a replacement of c1984. Nos
14 and 16 have low hipped slate roof with flat eaves with moulded ec?
on spaced brackets. Horizontal grooving to ground floor struck into windows
and doorheads. 1st floor cill band, 3 window each to ground floor, hung
sashes with glazing bars, shouldered moulded architraves. 2 windows to
ground floor of No 14, recessed sashes with vertical glazing bar only, and 1
window and double panelled coach house door to ground floor of No 16.
Paired entrances with doors of 3 panels, 2 glazed, with rectangular fanlights
in architrave cases, set well back. Openings flanked and divided by Doric
pilasters on panelled bases with faceted dosserets or triglyphs in frieze,
and moulded cornice broken forward over them. No 18 projecting, low parapeted
front. 2 windows to 1st floor, band at cills. No 18 has 1 window to ground
floor and panelled and glazed door.
