House. Probably C15, remodelled C17 and cased C19 with some late C20 alterations.
Rendered timber-frame on rubble plinth with machine tile roof. Probably two
framed bays aligned north/south with rubble gable-end stacks. West front of
two storeys with C20 fenestration. Three windows, a top-hung casement to left
and two 2-light casements. Entrance to right of centre has a C20 gabled and
half-glazed porch, the door is glazed. Interior not inspected but reported to
contain a smoke-blackened roof with cambered tie-beams and curved braces. (RCHM,
3, p 139, no 3).
