Cottage. Probably late C17 or early C18 with later alterations. Sandstone
rubble and brick plinth, timber-frame with plaster infill and brick addition.
Stone slate roof and extruded sandstone rubble and stack with detached brick
shaft. Rectangular two-bay plan aligned west-south-west/east-north-east. One
storey and attic. North elevation has two windows, gabled dormers with 2-light
late C20 glazing bar casements. Ground floor has four similar casements, the
left are in a late C19 or early C20 brick lean-to. Two more casements are in
main part, one to either side of framed central projection with cat-slide roof.
The fourth is in the projection. Small sandstone lean-to to right-hand side
