Farmhouse. Probably late C17 or early C18 with later alterations. Timber-
frame with sandstone rubble and brick extension. Welsh slate roof with
extruded sandstone rubble end stack and brick shaft. Bridge ridge stack.
Rectangular two-bay plan aligned roughly east/west. Two storeys. North
elevation has three windows, 2-light early C20 casements. Ground floor has
a pair of juxtaposed contemporary 2-light casements to each side of ledged
mid-C20 door. Lean-to to left has 4-pane early C20 window and ledged
door. Rear elevation has lean-to sandstone rubble and painted brick extension.
Frame is four panels high from cill to wall-plate. The top two rows of panels
are square; the bottom two rectangular. Interior noted as having heavy
chamfered ceiling beams. (RCHM, Vol III, p 8).
