Third quarter of Cl9. No 26: 2 storeys, 3 windows. Tudor style with
high pitched slated roof gabled at right and left. Pinkish stock brick
with stone dressings, ie quoins, lst floor string, and surrounds, mullions
and transoms to two and three-light casement windows. Lights have Cl3
type shouldered arches. Irregular, alternating block surrounds to windows
and to segment-headed, double chamfered doorway, Modern door. Set back
left bay, No 28: 2 storeys, 3-bay front, gabled. Left bay split by chimney.
Pinkish stock brick now rendered except for chimney. Mock timbering on lst
floor. Stone lst floor string. High pitched slated roof. One-two-and
three-light casements, some with transoms. Shouldered lintels to lights.
Headstopped hoodmoulds. Similar 4-bay west return to Jews' Walk, has
modern bay window on ground floor right and two other small windows inserted.
At ground floor left a stone window bay has cornice with gargoyles, and
parapet. Wide, segment headed double door, in double-chamfered reveal, has
headstopped hoodmould over. Included to complete group, although altered.
Nos 14 to 26 (even) form a group.
