House, now a shop. C18 or earlier, heightened to 3-storeys and new front
in early C19, late C19 shopfront. Red brick with stucco front lined as
ashlar. Slate roof with plastered eaves soffit. 3-storeys, 3 windows
wide building on pavement facing W. Front has corner pilasters with
caps, eaves band and brackets to eaves soffit one at each end and
flanking each window. Recessed sash windows with square heads. Middle
windows have 3/3 and 6/6 panes: outer windows 4/4 and 8/8 panes. Fascia
shopfront with recessed central glazed door and 4 large windows. Red
brick rear part with sashes but C18 and C19 casement windows on 1st
floor.
