Circa 1850-55, a carefully proportioned pair of aemi-detached villas. Two
storeys, white brick with stucco dressings. Treated as one broad composition
with a 6 bay main verge end single recessed bays each end, their ground floor
screened by flank walls. Low pitched hipped elate roof overall with deep
panelled soffit flat eaves. Central and flanking chimney stacks with friezes
and cornices. Shallow plinth and ground floor sill course, 1st floor sill
course. Windows and door of identical proportion all with architrave surrounds,
saved to base at sill course level on ground floor, with crisply modelled
cornices. The ground floor windows have sills slightly recessed with dies
carried down to plinth and the lst floor windows have slightly advanced sills
with anthemia plaques as consoles - the sections of sill course between have
incised panels. The doors are double with small dado panels and 2 tall vertical
panels. Similar details to windows of recessed bays.
