Circa 1840-50 well proportioned 2 storey, 2 bay Greek Revival villa. set
back with carriage sweep. Plinth quoin pilasters, shallow centre break, 1st
floor sill course, deep frize, projecting cornice and parapet slightly rasied
as block pediment over centre break. The ground floor is chanelled. The
flanking bays are framed as panels by the pilasters, frieze, plinth and centre
break. Ground floor windows in architrave surrounds down to plinth, 1st floor
windows simply revealed. Glazing bar sashes intact. Heavy Greek Doric porch
with flight of steps. Architrave doorway with panelled reveals. The door
furniture of Arts and Craft design. To left hand is a recessed narrow bay
adjoined by screen wall with advanced segmental arched carriage entrance to
yard and coach house. Two storey hipped roof service wing to side and rear.
