Group of 10 chest tombs. Circa 1820-1860. 8 commemorate members of the Stokes
family; 2 others, set slightly apart, commemorate members of the Ward family.
Limestone ashlar. All have moulded bases and cornice lids, and recessed corners
with rectangular balusters. Sides have oval inscription panels, most with carved
fan motifs in spandrels. Inscriptions on S sides are nearly all illegible.
Tombs make an impressive group.
