and containing a re-set stone,
gateway, and arch over stream

Sandstone rubble wall, possibly C19th and containing earlier features. The
gateway has rough long-and-short jambs and a lintel having 2 cyma-moulded
segmental arches which meet in the centre at a fluted false keystone. To
the left, re-set in the south side of the wall is a piece of C17th masonry
having a 'Celtic' carved head and gadroon decoration. Further left the wall
is carried over a stream by a chamfered segmental arch with masonry marks
on the voussoirs.
