On the wall opposite the fifth hatchment is that of the 2nd Baronet himself (died 1852) displaying a many - quartered shield of Welby, with his wife's arms in pretence. The (1) Welby quarters look back to include the Arms of (2) de Moulton (Barry of 6 argent and gules, in chief 3 torteaux), (3) de Lindsey (Or an eagle displayed, with two heads, sable, on the breast, nine plates), (4) Foulshurst (Gules fretty or, a chief ermine), (5) Friskney (Azure a saltire between 4 crosses srosslet or) and (6) Stynte (Ermine on a bend gules 3 leopards faces or). We might assume other intervening Arms are hiding under the escutcheon as there is some red visible. (Photo Sept 2012).
