Inscription on Blyth monument. -Here lies John Blyth of Denton son of William Blyth of Strawson in Lincolnshire County. Who took to wife Margaret Thorol, daughter of Robert Thorol of Haigh in County Peterborough, Esquire. He had nine children, of whom lived, William, John, Robert, Anna, Katherine and Maria. He died 8th November in the year of our Lord 1602-. (Photo Mar 2007).
