Shown on O.S. map as Haries Farmhouse.
Farmhouse. Late C17, possibly incorporating part of an earlier building,
with later additions and alterations. Timber framed with painted brick
infill on rendered plinth; slate roof. 2 storeys; apparently of 3 or
4 framed bays. Framing: square panels, 4 from cill to wall plate with
short straight tension braces, top row of panels possibly representing
raising of eaves. Collar and tie beam truss with projecting single-
purlin ends to left gable end. One C20 and three C19 casements directly
below eaves and two C20 casements to ground floor, right in position of
infilled doorway. Lean-to to left with cement render in imitation of
timber frame has 2 late C19 casements to front and C20 door to right side.
C19 red brick ridge stack to left of centre and internal end stack to
left with dentilled and moulded capping respectively. C19 red brick
range with integral end stack projecting at right-angles to rear on right.
Back wall of main range has close-set vertical posts to centre with painted
sandstone below.
