Farmhouse Circa 1830. Stuccoed brick, lined as ashlar; hipped slate
roof. Irregular L-plan. 2 storeys. Plinth, end pilaster strips,
first floor cill string, reeded frieze, and dentil eaves cornice.
Brick ridge stacks off-centre to left and right and 3 further stacks
to rear. 3 bays; glazing bar sashes with moulded architraves, 16-
pane to first floor and 20-pane to ground floor. Central pair of flush-
panelled half-glazed doors with margin lights, rectangular overlight
with margin lights, and 2 steps up to Ionic porch with coupled unfluted
columns, plain pilasters behind, and entablature with reeded frieze,
dentil cornice and blocking course; small stone globes flanking foot
of steps. 2-bay right-hand return front and one-bay left-hand return
front with set-back lower block of one bay. Interior not inspected
but panelled window shutters noted. Part of a small group including
gates and gate piers to north-west (q.v.) and stable block to east
(q.v.).
