House. Mid-to late C19,incorporating an earlier core. Planted timber
frame with plastered infill panels on brick plinth. Plain tile roofs.
Irregular plan. Two storeys and attic. Garden front: scalloped
barge boards with finials. Brick stack in valley to left, large external
brick end stack to right with 2 diagonally-placed square shafts,and brick
stack in valley to rear. Two gables to left with quatrefoiled-lozenge
attic windows, pair of first-floor 3-light casements, that to right with
trefoiled-headed lights, and ground floor with flat-roofed square bay to
left and early C19 flat-roofed canted bay to right with glazing bar sashes.
Wing set back to right. Two-window front; 3-light wooden casements with
returned hoodmoulds, those to ground floor with round-arched lights and
those to first floor with trefoil-headed lights. Left-hand return (entrance)
front: right-hand part with 2 first-floor casements and central ground-floor
French casements. Gabled range set back to left with first-floor 4-light
casement and ground-floor boarded door with timber framed porch. Service
ranges adjoining to rear. Interior not inspected.
